Opportunity

Newly created role leading equipment and solutions sales within the Sydney region, targeting industrial, food & beverage and HVAC projects.

Get exposure to the company's entire equipment & solutions portfolio including pumps, aerators, mixers associated water treatment technologies.


What will you do?

  • Identify new opportunities and projects across the Sydney region
  • Undertake site visits to existing and potential clients to expand customer base
  • Provide technical advice to customers on a range of products, solving customer challenges with engineered solutions
  • Work closely with consultants to ensure company’s offering is specified for upcoming projects
  • Promote service, spare parts and after-sales offerings

  • Proven experience in a technical solution sales role
  • Water, wastewater or pump equipment knowledge

Your opportunity

W3 Associates has partnered with a rapidly expanding water engineering contracting business who are looking to appoint several new project engineers to their team in NSW.
  
The company delivers critical water & wastewater treatment infrastructure to regional towns across NSW and QLD, specialising in the delivery of wastewater treatment plants, pump-stations, pipelines and associated water engineering solutions. Clients include water utilities, water authorities, regional councils and tier 1 contractors.
  
With current projects and a strong pipeline of work north of Sydney, the company are looking to appoint a Project Engineer in the Newcastle or Central Coast region. This is a newly created permanent position reporting to the Senior Project Manager in Newcastle.
  

What will you do?

As a Project Engineer you will have an active role in the complete life cycle of projects from tendering through to delivery whilst continuously developing client relationships.
  
You will be heavily projects focussing on water & wastewater treatment plants, pump-stations and pipelines including both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  
You will work with a project team comprised of a project manager, project engineer and supervisor to run the projects alongside a passionate and driven crew and offsite support from company management.


What can you bring to the team?
  
Firstly, you will have a keen interest in helping regional communities improve the overall quality of their water infrastructure assets. You will also be a degree qualified engineer (civil or mechanical) and ideally have experience working as a site engineer, project engineer or project manager on water infrastructure projects.
  
You will have a positive attitude, an ability to multi-task and prioritise work, strong client management skills and an interest in contributing to the company’s culture.

YOUR OPPORTUNITY

An opportunity has been created for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Design) to join a specialist engineering consultancy based in Sydney who are involved in the design and delivery of complex water & wastewater infrastructure projects.


WHAT WILL YOU DO?

You will take ownership of a portfolio water infrastructure projects from early client engagement and be involved in tendering support, detailed design, design management and will provide support to the delivery contractors throughout the project execution phase.
  
Your key focus will be mechanical engineering design, but you will be involved in all stages of the project lifecycle covering multiple engineering disciplines. Key projects will include treatment plants, pump-stations and pipelines. 

The potential for this role is really in your hands, whether you have a passion for client development, design management or detailed design the role can be tailored somewhat to suite your strengths. 


WHAT CAN YOU BRING TO THE TEAM?
  
Firstly, you will have a keen interest in helping water utilities improve the overall quality of their existing and future assets. You will also be a degree qualified mechanical engineer with experience working on water infrastructure projects.
  
You will have a positive attitude, an ability to use mechanical design software and the ability to effectively manage client relationships.
