Opportunity

Lead the company's 'Digital Water Solutions' portfolio, targeting water utilities across Australia and New Zealand. Work with the latest technologies including software, analytics, sensors, digital twins, AI and real-time models.  

SMART water solutions portfolio includes but not limited to:
  • Treatment plant optimisation
  • Wastewater network optimisation
  • Real-time leak detection and non-revenue water management
  • Pipe risk analysis 
  • Network pressure management

What will you do?

  • Develop and execute an integrated account strategy focused on growing the company's portfolio of Digital Water Solutions across Australia and New Zealand, wit support from a national key account team
  • Take prime responsibility for managing client engagements for digital water solutions, developing close relationships with senior leaders (C-suite and 1-2 layers down) with priority water utility clients
  • Understand each client’s budget and capital improvement plan, key pain points and business drivers, strategic priorities and challenges, digital transformation plans and stakeholder environment
  • Act as an industry thought leader for digital transformation in the water industry and participate in industry associations, events and speaking opportunities 

What can you bring to the team?
  • Enterprise software or digital solutions sales experience across water, wastewater or utilities sectors
  • High level of influence in a sales negotiation capacity at c-suite level
  • Strong knowledge of the water utility assets
  • Established network of water industry contacts across Australia & New Zealand

Opportunity

A new opportunity for a 'Technical Specialist - Industrial Wastewater' has been created to keep up with the company's rapid growth.
  
This position works closely with the business development managers to assess the technical and commercial feasibility of new opportunities.

You will have input into proposal development and the initial concept designs for new projects across a range of industrial sectors including mining, food & beverage, manufacturing, groundwater and general industry. 

 
What can you bring to the team?
  • Formal tertiary qualifications in process or chemical engineering;
  • A minimum of 5 years industry experience in the design and implementation of industrial wastewater treatment trains and systems
  • Strong commercial skills
  • Ability to develop initial concept designs

A new opportunity for an 'Installation & Commissioning Engineer' has been created to keep up with the company's rapid growth.
  
You will work closely with the engineering team to support the in-house build of customised water & wastewater treatment systems, and subsequent site-based installation and commissioning of projects across Australia and New Zealand. 

This is a truly dynamic role that will change daily and will require a practical hands-on engineer or technician with experience building or commissioning water treatment plants. 

You role will the split 50/50 across office and project based work and will require travel to client sites during project delivery. 
 

What can you bring to the team?
  • A positive can-do attitude, and desire to work in a small collaborative engineering team
  • Relevant degree or trade qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years experience working on water or wastewater treatment plants or related equipment 
  • Strong client relationship skills

Having successfully delivered several projects with tier 1 companies, they are looking to continue their growth by appointing their first dedicated ‘Business Development Manager.
  

Opportunity

We are looking for a project focussed ‘Business Development Manager’ to identify and pursue new opportunities across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne, targeting Tier 1 construction companies involved in the delivery of road, rail, tunnelling and large-scale infrastructure projects.

This is a great opportunity to join an established company who are looking to capitalise on the significant investment in new civil infrastructure projects over the next 5 years.

Whilst beneficial, water treatment project experience is not essential. You will work closely with the company’s Directors and receive all necessary technical support and training o help you succeed in the role.

Your opportunity

W3 Associates has partnered with a rapidly expanding water engineering contracting business who are looking to appoint several new project engineers to their team in NSW.
  
The company delivers critical water & wastewater treatment infrastructure to regional towns across NSW and QLD, specialising in the delivery of wastewater treatment plants, pump-stations, pipelines and associated water engineering solutions. Clients include water utilities, water authorities, regional councils and tier 1 contractors.
  
With current projects and a strong pipeline of work north of Sydney, the company are looking to appoint a Project Engineer in the Illawarra, Canberra or Southern NSW region. 
  

What will you do?

As a Project Engineer you will have an active role in the complete life cycle of projects from tendering through to delivery whilst continuously developing client relationships.
  
You will be heavily projects focussing on water & wastewater treatment plants, pump-stations and pipelines including both greenfield and brownfield projects.
  
You will work with a project team comprised of a project manager, project engineer and supervisor to run the projects alongside a passionate and driven crew and offsite support from company management.


What can you bring to the team?
  
Firstly, you will have a keen interest in helping regional communities improve the overall quality of their water infrastructure assets. You will also be a degree qualified engineer (civil or mechanical) and ideally have experience working as a site engineer, project engineer or project manager on water infrastructure projects.
  
You will have a positive attitude, an ability to multi-task and prioritise work, strong client management skills and an interest in contributing to the company’s culture.
