Position summary

We are currently seeking a high-energy, self-motivated and dedicated engineer to lead process design and technical support.

The selected candidate will have experience in the field of water and wastewater treatment, with independent decision-making skills to prepare and submit optimised designs for projects.

Specific responsibilities:

• Develop process designs for new projects and provides support to sales team in Australia, New Zealand and Asia-Pacific Regions.
• Inputs to initial concept designs for new projects across a range of industrial sectors including mining, food & beverage, manufacturing, groundwater and general industry
• Prepare equipment selection and costing for project-specific proposals as well as standard product development and costing database development.
• Provide advice / recommendations on various treatability / optimized design options for new projects.
• Interacting with projects division, sales team and external customers in technical meetings.
• Travel to client site to provide technical / engineering support as and when required.
• Draft technical documentation including engineering bulletins/fact sheets for new product development.  

Required skills & experience:

• Degree in Chemical, Environmental or Mechanical Engineering
• 3 – 10 years’ experience in water / wastewater treatment
• Demonstrated understanding of water and wastewater treatment equipment and processes including, desalination, Ultra-Filtration (UF), Reverse Osmosis and others
• Excellent quantitative, analytical, problem solving, communication, interpersonal, presentation, influencing, facilitation, and computer skills
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of variables in situations within limited timeframes
